Boston leaves will fall
and NY days will break in sunshine
across the televised minutes of the world
But through it all there will be
more moments to cherish
with fingers clasped
than raindrops on this mesa meadow
for not every bloom in life has petals
and not every raindrop is a tear from heaven.
Let us stand in this rainstorm together
enjoy the sun as it rises
and then turn to see the glory
of the rainbow the two together bring…
